KVVU: Nevada State Police to receive virtual reality training systems

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Representatives Susie Lee and Steven Horsford announced $360,000 in federal funding for four virtual reality systems at Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.

The VR setups will put officers through realistic scenarios, helping them practice using the least amount of force necessary while staying safe.

The systems are portable, so state police can bring the training to officers across Nevada.
