LAS VEGAS – Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) delivered the keynote speech to the February Asian Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. The Chamber has served Nevada for nearly 40 years and is a strong partner for the nearly 36,000 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) small businesses across the Silver State.

“I represent a congressional district with one of the largest percentages of AANHPI residents in the country. And when I look around this room and see leaders in our AANHPI community, I know that our future is bright,” said Congresswoman Lee. “For 40 years, the Asian Chamber has been a strong force for our robust Asian business community. I hope that this Lunar New Year – the Year of the Dragon – our small businesses will continue to build strength and prosper. And I know we will be able to do that with the Chamber leading the way.”

Congresswoman Lee was joined by Chamber Chairman Robert Young, Chamber President Raja Mourey, and Chamber Board Members in kicking off the second Chamber luncheon of the year and discussing how state and federal partners are working to support economic development and job creation in the AANHPI community.

Since coming to Congress, Lee has worked across the aisle to boost our local economy and make life more affordable for southern Nevada families and small businesses.
