Congresswoman Lee Named Finalist for National Constituent Services Award from Congressional Management Foundation
Beat Out Over 80 Congressional Offices in Bipartisan Competition
WASHINGTON – Today, the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) named Congresswoman Susie Lee’s (NV-03) office as one of the top four finalists in the Constituent Services category of their annual Democracy Awards. The bipartisan competition ultimately crowns one Democratic and one Republican office each year based on how well they interact with, assist, and serve their constituents.
The award reflects Congresswoman Lee’s commitment to serving southern Nevadans responsively and efficiently through individual casework, constituent correspondence, and overall accessibility to her office. In fewer than just six years, Congresswoman Lee’s casework team has closed over 7,000 cases for southern Nevadans, sent over 225,000 responses to constituents, and returned over $31 million to individuals through casework.
“It’s my job to serve southern Nevadans in Congress, whether I’m voting on their behalf in Washington or addressing their individual needs right here at home,” said Congresswoman Lee. “I’m honored to receive this recognition and I’m grateful for my excellent team of caseworkers who work day in and day out to deliver positive results for families and small businesses across southern Nevada. Thank you to the Congressional Management Foundation for elevating this important work being done on behalf of our working families, small businesses, veterans, and seniors.”
“As a Democracy Award finalist, the Rep. Lee office is clearly one of the best in Congress,” said Bradford Fitch, President and CEO of the Congressional Management Foundation. “This designation demonstrates that Rep. Lee has made a significant commitment to being the best public servant for her constituents. Rep. Lee and her staff are to be congratulated for not only being a model for her colleagues in Congress, but for helping to restore trust and faith that our democratic institutions can work.”
The CMF noted that Congresswoman’s Lee advancement to the final round is especially notable for junior Members of Congress, as she is serving only her third term on behalf of Nevada’s Third Congressional District.

CMF cited the following as reasons for selecting Rep. Lee as finalist for an award:
“The office of Representative Susie Lee features comprehensive policies and practices crafted to ensure that exceptional constituent service is not just a goal but a routine practice for their team. For new casework staff hires, the office has developed a comprehensive “newcomer’s” binder, containing all office policies, guidelines, and contingency plans related to casework. The binder is continuously updated with new guidelines and best practices, ensuring that every staff member has access to the information they need to effectively assist constituents. The Casework Manager leads weekly meetings with casework staff to discuss trends and ensure that caseworkers have manageable caseloads and are not experiencing.”
The Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan nonprofit founded in 1977 dedicated to strengthening Congress and building trust in its work with and for the American people.
