Congresswoman Lee Named Nevada’s Most Bipartisan Member of Congress
#7 Most Bipartisan out of 435 U.S. House Representatives
WASHINGTON – Today, the Lugar Center and the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University named Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) Nevada’s most bipartisan Member of Congress and the seventh most bipartisan Member of the U.S. House of Representatives. The nonpartisan tool measures the degree to which Representatives work across party lines on legislation. The full report can be found here.
“Hardworking families in southern Nevada care less about political parties and more about common sense solutions. That’s why I’ve worked with Republicans to lower costs, create jobs, support law enforcement, and keep Americans safe at home and abroad.” said Congresswoman Lee. “I’m proud to have been named Nevada’s most bipartisan Member of Congress and one of the top ten most bipartisan lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives. I will continue working with my Republican colleagues to help Nevada’s families, small businesses, seniors, and veterans.”
Lee has also been named the most bipartisan Member of Congress by the Common Ground Committee, which incorporates an elected official’s score in the Lugar Center/McCourt School Bipartisan Index. Earlier this year, a report from CQ Roll Call’s annual vote studies analysis found that Lee has broken rank with her party more often than most of her colleagues.
