Report Shows Thousands of Nevadans Helped, Bipartisan Bills Signed Into Law

WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released her Term in Review report for the 118th Congress, spanning her work from 2023 to 2024 in Washington and in Nevada. Among deeper summaries and highlights of her legislation signed into law, investments secured, and constituents helped, the report includes the following topline numbers: 

  • Ranked #1 Most Bipartisan Member of Congress 
  • 3,199 cases closed for southern Nevadans by a nationally recognized casework team 
  • Five Lee-led bipartisan bills signed into law 
  • $7.7+ million secured for individual constituents through casework 
  • $5.06 billion returned to Nevadans through grants and other federal investments 
  • 60 bills led, 82% of which were bipartisan 
  • 14 passed out of the U.S. House of Representatives 
  • 51,000+ responses to legislative emails, calls, and letters 
  • 425+ events attended and hosted across Nevada 
  • 180 letters sent to the Administration and Congressional Leadership

The report highlights significant milestones throughout the year, such as: 

  • Breaking ground on Brightline West, the nation’s first-ever high-speed rail, made possible by legislation that Lee helped negotiate and pass. Brightline West is creating 35,000 good-paying jobs. 
  • Hosting Lee’s second annual Southern Nevada Water Summit. 
  • Passing bipartisan legislation to lower housing costs, secure southern Nevada’s water, clean up toxic abandoned hardrock mines, protect children online, strengthen outdoor recreation and more. 
  • Securing millions of federal investments for local projects like completing the Red Rock Legacy Trail, procuring a new emergency command vehicle for LVMPD, upgrading streetlights and traffic safety in one of Las Vegas’s most dangerous intersections, and more.
