Congresswoman Lee Statement on Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza

LAS VEGAS, NV – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released the following statement as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens: 

“I have been a staunch supporter of Israel since the barbaric invasion and hostage taking by Hamas on October 7, 2023. I have also staunchly supported the provision of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.  

“The starvation of innocent children is unbearable to watch. In addition to providing aid to Israel, the U.S. must be resolute in ensuring that food and medical supplies gets to people in need. 

“We must continue to press to bring parties back to the table to negotiate a cease fire and, in the meantime, aid must be allowed into Gaza. We have the means, we must also have the will.”
