Congresswoman Lee Statement on Supreme Court Mifepristone Decision

WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released the following statement on the Supreme Court’s decision to preserve access to the abortion pill mifepristone: 

“This is good news, but the fight is far from over. It never should have gotten this far in the first place. After far-right extremists overturned Roe v. Wade, 21 states have restricted or banned abortion, and they have continued their crusade to ban IVF and certain types of contraception.  

“Anti-choice extremists in Nevada and across the country are hellbent on implementing a nationwide abortion ban. I won’t rest until every woman has the freedom and the resources to make her own healthcare choices.”
