Congresswoman Lee Statement on Vote for Foreign Aid & National Security Package

WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) released the following statement after voting in favor of a foreign aid and national security package: 

“For months, I have urged House GOP leadership to let Congress vote on bipartisan legislation that supports our critical allies and strengthens our national security. I am glad that Democrats and commonsense Republicans were able to work together to stand strong against Putin, Hamas, Iran, and China — to protect America’s national security — and at the same time get much-needed food and medical resources to millions of suffering Palestinians.  

“I hope today is a signal that House GOP leadership will put politics aside and work in a bipartisan manner to support our democratic allies and keep Americans safe at home and abroad.
