“Hey, I just got off the floor of the House after voting against what I call the Republican ‘Screw You’ bill.
“What this does is cut Medicaid funding for millions of Americans, food support for seniors, services for children with disabilities – all under the guise that they’re cutting waste out of the U.S. government.
“But what they’re doing in fact is adding $3 trillion in debt. And the whole purpose of this bill is so they can turn around and give tax breaks to the Elon Musks of the world.
“And let’s face it: gas prices continue to go up, your grocery prices are still rising, housing costs are still rising. This does nothing to lower your costs. But instead, it’s to give tax breaks to their buddies. And many Americans are going to suffer.”
