Congresswoman Lee’s Office Delivers Valentines for Veterans Cards to Nevada State Veterans Home

LAS VEGAS – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee’s (NV-03) office visited the Nevada State Veterans Home to deliver valentines to southern Nevada veterans as part of Congresswoman Lee’s third annual Valentines for Veterans event. Her staff, which includes veterans, distributed cards made by local students and Boy Scout Troops.
“This Valentine’s Day I’m voting in Washington, but I’m grateful that we are keeping the beautiful Valentines for Veterans tradition alive in my district. More than 200,000 veterans call Nevada home, and this is a great tradition where young children take the time to honor them with Valentine wishes,” said Congresswoman Lee. “We owe every veteran a debt of gratitude for their service to our country, and I’m proud to help bring our community together to spread happiness through valentine’s cards.”
