Congresswoman Susie Lee Joined by Las Vegas Golden Knights Mascot Chance, Servicemembers from Nellis AFB to Deliver Valentines to Southern Nevada Veterans

February 14, 2023

LAS VEGAS – On Tuesday, February 14, U.S. Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) visited the Boulder City Veteran's Home to deliver valentines to southern Nevada veterans. This is the second annual Valentines for Veterans event hosted by Congresswoman Lee. This year, Congresswoman Lee was joined in delivering valentines by Las Vegas Golden Knights Mascot Chance, as well as servicemembers from Nellis Air Force Base. Local students and Boy Scout Troops helped to make the valentine cards delivered today.

"Valentines for Veterans has become a beautiful tradition," said Congresswoman Lee. "Our veterans have put their lives on the line to protect our country, and we owe them a debt of gratitude, not just today, but every day. That's why I'm so glad that Valentines for Veterans brings our community together to show our appreciation, and to teach our children about the important sacrifice our veterans and servicemembers make. And this year, I was especially glad to be joined by our very own Chance and servicemembers from Nellis Air Force Base to spread happiness through valentines!"
