LAS VEGAS – Yesterday, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that Unimacts, a Las Vegas solar manufacturing company, will be adding 200 good-paying clean energy jobs in total between their current Las Vegas manufacturing facility and future facility in Sloan. Congresswoman Lee made the announcement during a tour of the Unimacts facility, located in Nevada’s Third Congressional District, with CEO Alan Hays, company leadership, and local employees.
“Nevada has already been leading the nation in solar industry jobs, and it’s companies like Unimacts that make this possible. Today, I’m excited to announce that Unimacts will be creating even more jobs here in southern Nevada, with 200 jobs projected between their current facility here in Las Vegas and future facility in Sloan,” said Congresswoman Lee. “America has been fighting to bring manufacturing jobs back to the U.S. and reinforce our supply chain for a long time, which is why I was proud to have helped get the Inflation Reduction Act signed into law to bring these jobs right here to the Silver State. Now, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!”
“For me personally, my life in industrial manufacturing has typically been moving jobs out of the country that you live in somewhere else. And now this is reversing that trend,” said Unimacts CEO Alan Hays. “It’s the first time we’ve been able to do that for years in manufacturing. It’s tremendous to be able to bring jobs back to the U.S.”

Unimacts opened its first facility in Nevada’s Third Congressional District last year and is expanding quickly thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, which Congresswoman Lee helped get signed into law in 2022. Unimacts produces metal torque tubes which allow solar panels to rotate during the day, boosting efficiency by about 10 percent and directly and indirectly supporting hundreds of good-paying jobs. This announcement comes as more than 11,500 clean energy jobs have been created in Nevada because of the Inflation Reduction Act.
