Rep. Lee Announces More Than $48 Million in Federal Funding for Affordable Housing in Nevada

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that Nevada is set to receive more than $48 million in grant funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to increase access to affordable housing.

"Housing prices are skyrocketing and Nevadans need relief," said Rep. Lee. "I'm proud to announce this grant that will create more affordable housing in our state, and I will continue to work day in and day out in Congress to ensure every Nevadan has access to the affordable and safe housing they deserve."

• Nevada (Statewide) - $14,859,319
• Clark County - $13,352,479
• Las Vegas - $11,361,806
• Henderson - $2,239,376
• North Las Vegas - $2,026,271
• Reno - $3,831,821
• Sparks - $652,970


Rep. Lee has been a tireless advocate for more affordable housing in Nevada. Last week, Rep. Lee announced that NeighborWorks America, a congressionally chartered non-profit organization, awarded Nevada HAND $517,000 in Fiscal Year 2022 grant funding. This funding will support Nevada HAND's efforts to develop and preserve affordable housing as well as revitalize and sustain neighborhoods in Nevada.
