Rep. Susie Lee and Problem Solvers Caucus Support Bipartisan Senate–White House Infrastructure Framework
WASHINGTON –Today, the Problem Solvers Caucus formally endorsed the following position:
"The bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus strongly supports the Senate infrastructure framework, which is closely aligned with our own ‘Building Bridges' proposal released last month. In light of the bipartisan, bicameral genesis of the framework, we encourage an expeditious, stand-alone vote in the House and thank our bipartisan Senate partners and the Biden Administration for working so closely with us to demonstrate that cooperation is still possible in Washington."
Rep. Susie Lee, a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus and a member of the working group on infrastructure released this statement:
"Our crumbling roads, bridges, and the tools that grind the gears of day-to-day American life cannot support our future without significant new investment. Infrastructure is a unifying issue that shows this country that Washington can come together and deliver the investment needed to rebuild and modernize our economy. I'm proud to stand with my Problem Solvers Caucus colleagues to endorse the Senate's infrastructure framework and I look forward to continuing to work with Republicans and Democrats to get this across the finish line."
The Problem Solvers Caucus is a bipartisan group in Congress comprised of 58 members – equally divided between Democrats and Republicans – committed to forging bipartisan cooperation on key issues. Rep. Susie Lee is a proud member of the Problem Solvers Caucus, as well as a member of the working group on infrastructure.
