Rep. Susie Lee Appointed to the House Committee on Education and Labor

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Susie Lee (D-NV) released the following statement after being appointed the House Committee on Education and Labor:

"I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Committee on Education and Labor. I have spent my career working to improve Nevada's public education system and help students reach their fullest potential. I look forward to bringing my experience to the Committee and working with my colleagues to expand early childhood education, improve K-12 and higher education in Nevada, and finally tackle skyrocketing student loan debt. This Committee will also be at the forefront of investments in workforce development and job training, which will provide Nevada workers with the skills and tools they need to succeed in today's economy."
