Rep. Susie Lee Urges President Trump to Support Veterans, Education, Tourism in his FY 2020 Budget

Washington, DC - Today, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) sent the following letters to President Trump asking him to include funding in his FY 2020 budget for reducing veterans suicides, treating the opioid epidemic among veterans, improving school infrastructure, increasing financial literacy, funding Title II of the Every Student Succeeds Act, and reauthorizing the Brand USA program:
- Rep. Susie Lee Letter to POTUS on Veterans Suicides: This letter asks President Trump to allocate $206.1 million in his FY2020 budget for suicide prevention among veterans.
- Rep. Susie Lee Letter to POTUS on Veterans Opioid Crisis: This letter asks President Trump to allocate money for the bipartisan effort to reduce the veteran opioid abuse crisis.
- Rep. Susie Lee Letter to POTUS on School Infrastructure: This letter asks President Trump to include funds in the budget for addressing school infrastructure needs, such as classroom overcrowding.
