Susie Lee (NV-03) joined nine House Democrats in sending a letter to House leadership urging a vote on a bipartisan infrastructure deal without any delay after passage in the Senate. The letter challenges House leadership’s stated plan to withhold a vote on a bipartisan hard infrastructure deal until a Democratic-only bill can pass simultaneously.

The Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies funding bill and the Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies funding bill for Fiscal Year 2022 now head to the House floor for final passage.

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Lee’s amendment to the bipartisan Investing in a New Vision for the Environment and Surface Transportation in America (INVEST) in America Act was adopted in a bipartisan vote of 220-200. Rep. Lee’s amendment would ensure that any wastewater infrastructure funded using the Clean Water State Revolving Fund or other Clean Water Act grant programs undergo a climate resiliency assessment.
