WASHINGTON – This week, Rep. Susie Lee’s Virtual Peer Support Act was passed out of the House on a bipartisan vote as part of H.R. 7666, the Restoring Hope for Mental Health and Well-Being Act of 2022. Rep. Lee (D-NV) introduced the Virtual Peer Support Act with Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI) in April of 2021. The modified version of Rep. Lee’s legislation included in H.R. 7666 would boost the capacity and accessibility of mental health support programs by helping service providers expand their in-person and online peer support services.

Susie Lee announced that she secured the inclusion of $3 million for Southern Nevada Water Authority’s (SNWA) Septic Conversion Program in the Fiscal Year 2023 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies appropriations bill. This program helps southern Nevada homeowners transition from septic systems to municipal sewer systems.

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee announced that she secured the inclusion of $350,000 for the Clark County Small Business Opportunity Program in the Fiscal Year 2023 Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) appropriations bill. This project would expand and upgrade the Clark County Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP), a long-standing county program that helps small business owners increase their capacity to compete for government contracts.
