The focus of the Facebook Live town hall was on resources for small businesses and the ongoing federal response to COVID-19.

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) participated in a House Veterans' Affairs Committee (HVAC) virtual forum, discussing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic and health care services for homeless veterans. This was the first live, public, and entirely virtual bipartisan congressional forum ever conducted.

Americans now eligible for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) or Medicaid due to job loss or reduction in income are also eligible for the FCC's Lifeline program.

The FCC's Lifeline program is the primary federal program charged with helping low-income families obtain broadband and telephone services.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (D-Nev.-03) co-led the introduction of the bipartisan Equity in Student Loan Relief Act, also led by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.-21). This bipartisan bill would extend the temporary relief from student loan payments to Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) borrowers who have been left behind. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provided much needed student loan relief during this global pandemic, suspending all monthly payments and interest accumulation for federally held student loans through Sept. 30, 2020.

Susie Lee (Nev.-03), chair of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, Subcommittee on Technology Modernization, introduced the CFO Authority and Collaboration Act, which would require the U.S. Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) to report to Congress on their progress implementing the Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) program, a major effort to modernize VA's financial systems.
