“While the federal government continues to experience a shutdown, I respectfully request that you withhold my congressional salary. Members of Congress should play by the same rules as the people they represent. Until Congress comes to a bipartisan resolution to this impasse and fully reopens the government, I firmly believe Member pay should be withheld,” wrote Congresswoman Lee.

“This is not a choice that Democrats are making,” Lee responded when asked if preserving the tax credits is worth shutting the government down. “This is a choice that Republicans are making. They control the House, the Senate, and the presidency.”

"The I-15/Tropicana Interchange will get more people to where they need to go more safely, more efficiently, and more reliably,” said Congresswoman Lee. “With our world-class entertainment and sports, Las Vegas leads the way for innovation. Thanks to the money we secured from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, I’m looking forward to the other transformational projects to improve visitor experiences and help southern Nevadans travel safely between school, work, and home."
