Susie Lee (Nev.-03) participated in a House Veterans' Affairs Committee (HVAC) virtual forum, discussing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on economic and health care services for homeless veterans. This was the first live, public, and entirely virtual bipartisan congressional forum ever conducted.

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (D-Nev.-03) co-led the introduction of the bipartisan Equity in Student Loan Relief Act, also led by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.-21). This bipartisan bill would extend the temporary relief from student loan payments to Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) borrowers who have been left behind. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provided much needed student loan relief during this global pandemic, suspending all monthly payments and interest accumulation for federally held student loans through Sept. 30, 2020.
