LAS VEGAS – Yesterday, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) hosted a virtual tax workshop to discuss and answer questions regarding this year's income tax returns. She was joined by a representative from the IRS as well as experts from local tax organizations.
Rep. Lee reminded constituents of the new tax filing deadline, which she fought to extend:

The American Dream and Promise Act, would create a path to citizenship for immigrants known as "Dreamers," who came to the U.S. as children. WASHINGTON – T0day, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) voted to pass the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act (VAWA) of 2021. This bill would renew the Violence Against Women Act of 1994, which had been continuously reauthorized with broad, bipartisan support up until the 2018 government shutdown. The new bill builds upon previous versions of VAWA by making investments in preventing domestic and sexual violence and providing critical funding to programs supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
