WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) announced that nearly $12 million has been awarded to Nevada to invest in wildfire resilience projects on more than 100,000 acres of land across the state. Part of a nationwide effort to reduce wildfire risk, this funding was provided by the Bipartisan Infrastructure law – which Congresswoman Lee voted to pass last Congress – and will support Nevada wildland firefighters and protect Nevada homes and communities amid longer wildfire seasons.
