The bill includes multiple provisions that Rep. Susie Lee announced that she secured the inclusion of $3 million for Southern Nevada Water Authority’s (SNWA) Septic Conversion Program in the Fiscal Year 2023 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies appropriations bill.   WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) voted to pass new bipartisan legislation to lower the cost of food and fuel. The Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act will help bring down prices for Nevadans from the grocery aisle to the gas pump by lowering industry input costs and supporting American farmers.

  WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee announced that she secured the inclusion of $350,000 for the Clark County Small Business Opportunity Program in the Fiscal Year 2023 Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) appropriations bill. This project would expand and upgrade the Clark County Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP), a long-standing county program that helps small business owners increase their capacity to compete for government contracts.

The Challenge’s submission portal is now open. Students can register and submit their applications until November 1st, 2022.

Susie Lee’s amendment to address the housing affordability crisis in southern Nevada and across the country. Rep.   WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) voted to pass the bipartisan Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (RAWA), legislation that will amend the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Act to provide states, territories, and Tribes with additional federal funding to manage fish and wildlife species of greatest conservation need. In passing RAWA, Rep. Lee voted to secure more than $25 million per year for Nevada.

  WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03) voted to pass legislation to help communities prevent incidents of gun violence before they occur. The Federal Extreme Risk Protection Order Act empowers family members and law enforcement to seek a federal court order to temporarily remove access to guns from those who pose a danger to themselves or others, while incentivizing states to adopt their own extreme risk laws, also known as “red flag laws.”
