Washington, D.C. – The Veterans Comprehensive Prevention, Access to Care, And Treatment Act of 2020, or Veterans COMPACT Act, was signed into law by President Trump on Saturday, Dec. 5. The Veterans COMPACT Act is a comprehensive, bipartisan set of policies that improves veterans' suicide prevention, mental health care, and outreach within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) $1,395,000 to implement Nevada's recently approved Nonpoint Source State (NPS) Management Plan. Rainfall moving over the ground causes nonpoint source pollution, leading to runoff that picks up natural and man-made pollutants as it flows.
