"In a few short months, our country has faced a once-in-a-century pandemic, a severe unemployment crisis, and a grassroots uprising against systemic racism. No matter how unprecedented the moment, there are no excuses. Congress needs to step up and lead. I remain committed to working day and night to see us through this moment.

Washington, D.C. – Chair of the House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Technology Modernization Susie Lee (Nev.-03) and Chair of the House Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Health Julia Brownley (Calif.-26), led a joint hearing examining the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) telehealth operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Las Vegas, Nev.—U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) helped introduced bipartisan legislation led by Rep. Katie Porter (Calif.-45), along with Reps. Elise Stefanik (N.Y.-21), Lori Trahan (Mass.-03), and Alma Adams (N.C.-12), that would expand the reach of the student borrower protections included in the CARES Act.
