"Two officers donned their uniforms Saturday to serve their community and were ambushed. They are now fighting for their lives. This act of violence against them is unspeakable, and it is clearly not how we build a more just community and country. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones. At the same time, those responsible must be held accountable for this atrocious act.
