WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Lee (NV-03) applauded the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) recent announcement that nearly 50,000 veterans have received free emergency suicide prevention care since the implementation of the bipartisan Veterans Comprehensive Prevention, Access to Care, and Treatment (COMPACT) Act, which Lee helped craft and get signed into law.

LAS VEGAS – This week, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) hosted a mental health roundtable at the College of Southern Nevada with Dr. Delphin-Rittmon, the Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the Administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and local substance abuse prevention and mental health advocates.
