WASHINGTON– This week, Congresswoman Susie Lee (D-NV) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Dwight Evans (D-PA), Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and Mike Kelly (R-PA) introduced the bipartisan Fairness to Kids with Cancer Act. The bill would require the share of federal funds allocated to pediatric cancer research to equal the percentage of the U.S. population that is under the age of 18.

LAS VEGAS – Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) hosted a water conservation summit to discuss partnership-driven progress in Western water conservation. During the summit, Congresswoman Lee announced that the Bureau of Reclamation has allocated $63 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding to 13 water infrastructure projects across Nevada.

LAS VEGAS – Yesterday, Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03) traveled to Creech Air Force Base (AFB) to meet with base leadership and Airmen, tour the base’s facilities, and discuss the challenges that Airmen regularly face. To address these challenges and empower Nevada Airmen and their families, Congresswoman Lee introduced the Creech Airmen Economic Security and Resilience Act this week. This legislation would require an investigation into reinstating Assignment Incentive Pay for Creech Airmen and an assessment of Creech-specific difficulties and options for improving quality of life for Creech personnel and families.
