Susie Lee (NV-03) applauded Deputy Secretary of the Interior Tommy Beaudreau's announcement that the Department of the Interior (DOI) will invest more than $5.9 million in FY22 funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in Nevada to support wildfire resiliency projects on 14,655 acres of land across the state.

WASHINGTONToday, Reps. Susie Lee (D-NV) and Michelle Steel (R-CA) led 17 of their House colleagues to introduce the Solidify Iran Sanctions Act (SISA) to make the sanctions authority established by the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 permanent. The bill is a companion to Senate legislation introduced by Sens. Tim Scott (R-SC), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), and Jacky Rosen (D-NV). The provisions of 1996 Act are set to expire in 2026.

LAS VEGAS – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) joined Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, Tribal leaders, and local community leaders to tour the proposed national monument site at Avi Kwa Ame. In January, Rep. Lee sent a letter to Sec. Haaland encouraging the administration to designate Avi Kwa Ame as a national monument and inviting her to tour the proposed monument site.
