WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) a $4,870,000 grant under its Buses and Bus Facilities Program. The program makes federal resources available to direct recipients to replace, rehabilitate, and purchase buses and related equipment, as well as to make innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles and facilities.

WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that Nevada is receiving $5,618,414 in funding this year under the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations along its key roads and highways. These investments will create good-paying jobs to improve EV charging access for Nevada drivers and support American car manufacturers’ rapidly-growing EV production.

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV) and Rep. Michelle Steel (R-CA) announced the introduction of the bipartisan Hire Student Veterans Act. This legislation would provide a tax credit to businesses that hire part-time veterans who are using their VA-administered educational benefits and taking advantage of paid internships and other work opportunities while still in school.
