WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced the winners of the 2021 Congressional App Challenge. The Congressional App Challenge, launched in 2015, gives students the opportunity to create and submit original apps with the mission of innovating efforts in STEM, coding and computer science education.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that Harry Reid International Airport, formerly McCarran International Airport, will receive $43,982,805 in funding from the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to support the modernization and development of its infrastructure. Additionally, she announced $481,061,066 to rebuild roads and bridges across Nevada.

WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Representative Susie Lee (D-NV) and U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Kevin Cramer (R-ND), along with Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX), Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), and Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), announced the introduction of HR 6273 the bipartisan VA Zero Suicide Demonstration Project Act of 2021. This bill would launch the Zero Suicide Initiative Pilot Program at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded the City of Henderson’s Police Department two Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Grants, totaling $270,486. This funding will allow the Henderson Police Department to obtain a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

These cuts are set to take effect on January 1st, 2022 and would devastate frontline workers, including those at hospitals and other health care settings.

Susie Lee (NV-03) joined 17 of her colleagues in sending a letter to President Biden and leadership in the House and Senate urging preventative action against harmful cuts to Medicare reimbursements. These cuts are set to take effect on January 1st, 2022 and would devastate frontline workers, including those at hospitals and other health care settings.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev-.03) highlighted a new report showing that the Build Back Better Act would meaningfully lower costs and cut taxes for Nevada families, saving them thousands of dollars each year. According to the report, just four cost-cutting provisions of this landmark legislation alone will save the median Nevada family with two parents and two children at least $8,000 each year and save the median single-parent family with two children at least $14,150.
