Susie Lee (NV-03) sent a letter to President Joe Biden voicing her concerns about how the Department of Veterans Affairs’ proposed closure of the Rural Outreach Clinic in Laughlin might impact veterans in southern Nevada. Rep. Lee urged the president to refrain from implementing any recommendations that could reduce veterans’ access to health care and to ensure that their care won’t be interrupted by proposed changes.

Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) a $4,870,000 grant under its Buses and Bus Facilities Program. The program makes federal resources available to direct recipients to replace, rehabilitate, and purchase buses and related equipment, as well as to make innovations to modify low or no emission vehicles and facilities.

Susie Lee (Nev.-03) announced that Nevada is receiving $5,618,414 in funding this year under the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations along its key roads and highways.
