WASHINGTON – Rep. Susie Lee announced today that the IRS will continue to provide tax credits to help local small businesses cover the costs of providing paid sick and family leave for workers through September. Workers can use these paid leave opportunities to care for themselves, to care for family members who are sick, or to get vaccinated and take time off to recover from any temporary side effects from the shot.
WASHINGTON — Today, Congresswoman Susie Lee (D-NV) and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) introduced the Seniors Securing Access to Vital and Essential (SAVE) Prescription Drugs Act. If enacted, this bill would help more low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities afford their prescription drugs. This bill would also incentivize responsible saving for retirement by excluding covered retirement accounts when determining who qualifies for the Medicare Part D "Extra Help" program, which helps seniors cover their prescription drug costs.

Las Vegas, NV – Today, U.S. Rep. WASHINGTON — Today, U.S. Representative Susie Lee (NV-03) introduced the End Speculative Oil and Gas Leasing Act. This bill, which was introduced in the Senate by Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), would promote more appropriate land-use management by prohibiting oil and gas leasing on public lands that are determined by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to have little to no potential for energy development.
