WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Rep. Susie Lee (Nev-.03) highlighted a new report showing that the Build Back Better Act would meaningfully lower costs and cut taxes for Nevada families, saving them thousands of dollars each year. According to the report, just four cost-cutting provisions of this landmark legislation alone will save the median Nevada family with two parents and two children at least $8,000 each year and save the median single-parent family with two children at least $14,150.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Reps. Susie Lee (NV-03) and Michelle Steel (CA-48) announced their introduction of the bipartisan Telehealth Expansion Act, which would permanently extend a CARES Act telehealth waiver to ensure that 35 million Americans continue to have affordable coverage of telehealth services. The CARES Act, a bipartisan bill signed into law in March 2020, allowed individuals with HSA-qualified high-deductible plans to access telehealth services before meeting their deductible.

Prescription drug reform was not included in the original framework of the Build Back Better Act released last week, but Rep. In the past month, more than a thousand constituents voiced their concerns to Rep. Lee about the potential burdens and unintended consequences that could emerge from this new reporting requirement.
